The game features a new map called LAGNA, a 4x4 desert map with limited cover and various ridge heights for strategic attacks. Another map, Akinta, offers fast-paced matches in a 4x4 map with tense gameplay and strategic plays using landmarks. There is also a 7-round deathmatch series where players must eliminate the competition and be the final survivor.
The gunplay in NEW STATE MOBILE is more realistic and dynamic, with a unique weapon attachment system for customization. The game also introduces new mechanics such as dodging, drone calls, and support requests. Players can use new vehicles to quickly move across the 8x8 open world and complete objectives to gain an advantage.
Set in the anarchic year of 2051, decades after the original PUBG, NEW STATE MOBILE expands the PUBG universe with new factions and a completely new battleground. The game boasts ultra-realistic graphics with "global illumination" technology, surpassing what was previously possible in mobile gaming. It also utilizes Vulkan (API) for stable service and improved performance.
