The world has been plunged into darkness and chaos. In the wilds of Midgard, the dead now roam freely in the daylight. The rivers are poisoned and even the Valkyries no longer take the fallen warriors to Valhalla. Something sinister is lurking in the shadows of the forests and gorges, and it is all because of the goddess Hel and her black magic. In just 15 days, she has cursed the land and now she seeks to enslave the living kingdom.

But there is one group that is unaffected by this curse - the immortal Jarls of the northern warriors. Death no longer exists for them, and even the healers and shamans are at a loss to explain this phenomenon. With the way to Valhalla closed, the only option left is to arm themselves and fight back against the creatures of darkness, sending them back to Helheim.

Frostborn is a co-op survival game with MMORPG elements. Players must team up with other Vikings to build a strong base and confront the creatures hiding in the shadows and shrines of the gods. They must also be prepared to fight against other players during raids and random encounters in various locations and dungeons.

But survival is not just about fighting and raiding. Players must also build and improve their own city, with strong walls, houses, and artisan shops. This is a long and challenging process, but with the help of other Vikings and city inhabitants, players can fight for a place in this world ruled by black magic.
