BlackGentry is a members-only dating app designed for ambitious and intentional Black singles.

We are a dating app for high-quality, successful Black singles who are looking for genuine connections and relationships. Our community values kindness, respect, integrity, and growth, and we strive to create a safe and welcoming space for our members. Each profile is carefully reviewed by our membership committee before being accepted, ensuring that our community is made up of individuals who have themselves together and share our values.

Prospective members can download our app and submit an application, which will then be placed on a waitlist for review by our membership committee. We look for detailed profiles with clear images, and an applicant's status can change from waitlist to accepted at any time. This process allows us to maintain a high standard of quality for our community.

All users have access to free chat with their matches and a limited number of Direct Messages per day. For additional features, users can choose to subscribe to our Deluxe or VIP plans. Our Deluxe plan includes unlimited likes, the ability to rewind profiles, ad-free browsing, unlimited Direct Messages, and more. Our VIP plan includes all Deluxe features plus incognito mode and access to the Gentry Lounge.

Both our Deluxe and VIP plans are auto-renewable subscriptions, with durations of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Subscriptions are charged to the user's iTunes account and will automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Users can manage their subscription and turn off auto-renewal in their iTunes Account Settings.
