To use the mozaik3D application, you can either open it directly or access it while browsing mozaweb.com. Once the app is open, you can try out the demo scenes without registering. On the main page of the app, you can filter 3Ds by topic or use the search field to find a specific scene. The sidebar menu allows you to change the language, purchase a subscription, provide feedback, and rate the app.
The 3D scenes in this app are fully interactive and can be rotated, enlarged, and viewed from pre-set angles. Some scenes even have a Walk mode, allowing you to explore the scene on your own. Most 3Ds also include narrations, animations, captions, quizzes, and other visual elements. They are available in multiple languages, providing a great opportunity to learn and practice foreign languages.
For an even more immersive experience, you can activate VR mode by pressing the VR headset icon in the bottom right corner. This allows you to walk through ancient Athens, the Globe Theatre, or even on the surface of the Moon. Please note that for a full VR experience, you will need a device with a gyroscope.
To navigate through the 3D scenes, you can rotate the scene by dragging your finger, zoom in or out by pinching, shift the view by dragging with three fingers, and switch between predefined views by tapping the buttons at the bottom. Some views also have a virtual joystick for walking. The internal menu, accessible by touching the bottom corners, allows you to change the language and access other functions. In VR mode, you can tilt your head to the right or left to display the navigation panel and look down to turn movement on or off during Walk.
